The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wyoming invites the public to the annual statewide hearing on the use of helicopters and motorized vehicles in wild horse management operations. This important event will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, at the BLM Rock Springs Field Office, located at 280 Highway 191 N., Rock Springs, Wyoming.

Helicopters are utilized for wild horse removals and for conducting census and population distribution flights over herd management areas. Motorized vehicles, including tractor trailers and pickup trucks, are employed to transport wild horses. The hearing provides an opportunity for interested parties to attend and share their views, comments, and suggestions regarding these practices throughout Wyoming.

Comments made during the formal statewide public hearing will be recorded, and summaries will be available upon request.
