Foster's Early Life

Foster was adopted from aBLMfacility but soon found himself abandoned after his new owner passed away. He was left in a stall at a boarding facility, receiving only basic care and no attention. This unfortunate situation lasted for about three years until Laura Bold encountered him by chance.

A Chance Meeting

Laura met Foster while visiting her cousin at the stable where he was boarded. Instantly, she felt a connection with the mustang and decided to help him. She began visiting him regularly, building trust and forming a deep bond.

Becoming Foster's Guardian

Despitelegal challenges, Laura managed to become Foster's guardian through an informal agreement with the stable owners. She started paying his full board and worked tirelessly to gain his trust and prove her ability to handle him.

Foster's Journey to Freedom

Through patience and dedication, Laura was eventually allowed to take Foster to the outdoor arena, where he demonstrated his trust by following her lead. This marked the beginning of his newfound freedom, as he was finally allowed to roam in a pasture.

A Bond Like No Other

Laura and Foster's relationship blossomed as they spent time together, playing and exploring the property. Although Laura had no prior experience with horses, she learned alongside Foster, forming a unique and respectful bond.

In February, Foster contracted a bacterial infection that led to colitis. Despite efforts to save him, he passed away. Laura stayed by his side, ensuring his final moments were peaceful and surrounded by nature.
