As Americans become more aware of these magnificent animals, the ecotourism value of wild horse herds continues to grow.

New Mexico

In New Mexico, theJicarilla Wild Horse Territoryoffers visitors amazing opportunities to view these iconic animals.

Colorado

In Colorado, theLittle Book Cliffs Wild Mustangs, near Grand Junction, and theSand Wash Basin Wild Mustangs, west of Craig, provide excellentecotourismand viewing opportunities.

Wyoming

Numerous viewing opportunities exist for WyomingMustangs, including:
