International Award-Winning Photograph Auctioned for Wild Horse Benefit in Denver

Denver Wildlife Photographer Scott Wilson’s “Anger Management,” Winner of Two SONY 2022 World Photography Awards

(DENVER, COLO.) December 8, 2022 — Denver-based photographer, Scott Wilson ofWilsonAxpe Photography, is offering his SONY 2022 World Photographyaward-winningphotograph, Anger Management, in a silent auction to benefit the nation’s leading wild horse protection organization, theAmerican Wild Horse Conservation (formerly American Wild Horse Campaign)(AWHC). The photograph earned Wilson the covetedOpen Photographer of the Yearaward earlier this year.

The photograph headlines a silent auction that includes unique art and experiences.

Anger Management, winner of the Sony World Photography Natural World & Wildlife Award, by Scott Wilson/WilsonAxpe Photography, Sony Open Photographer of the Year, is one of the many amazing pieces of art, jewelry, and experiences in the AWHC’s 2022 Stay Wild auction.

Anger Management will be featured at AWHC’s 5th Annual Stay Wild benefit hosted this year at Wilson’sGallery 6in Denver’s art district on December 9, from 5-8 pm. The evening will previewMustang Grit, a documentary short about Wilson’s journey from wildlife photographer and Stage 4 cancer survivor to a leading advocate for wild horse conservation in Colorado.

“We are so grateful to Scott for donating his iconic photograph that captures the power, beauty, and strength of America’s wild mustang. His photograph, Anger Management, has highlighted these iconic animals and their plight on the international photography scene,” saidSuzanne Roy, executive director of the AWHC.

While the event is RSVP only, the auction is open to the public and can be viewedhere. Bidding closes at 9 pm MT, December 9, 2022.
