June 27, 2013: New Baby Filly Born to Deer Run Family

American Wild Horse Conservation (formerly American Wild Horse Campaign) is thrilled to announce the birth of a new baby filly named Hope.Born on June 26, 2013, Hope is the latest addition to the Deer Run family, who were rescued earlier this year after being removed from their natural habitat by theBLM. The family now resides in a peaceful 2,000-acre sanctuary in northern California.

Diva, the proud mother, and her newborn are both doing well. Below are the first pictures of Hope, capturing her early moments in her new home.
