All our hard work is paying off. Last week, we exposed the sham pro-slaughter summit in Utah, hand-delivered over 300,000 petition signatures to a key swing vote inCongress, and new bipartisan legislation was introduced to maintain the ban on killing healthy horses.

When this summer began, things looked bleak. It appeared the White House andCongresswere about to do the unthinkable—open the door to the killing of nearly 100,000 healthy horses and burros. We now have a real chance to stop this and protect America's majestic icons of freedom.
