Stay Wild LA Presented by Jenni Kayne: A Night to Celebrate and Protect America’s Wild HorsesStay Wild LA Presented by Jenni Kayne: A Night to Celebrate and Protect America’s Wild Horses

Every year, American Wild Horse Conservation’s Stay Wild event brings together wild horse advocates, animal lovers, and supporters from across the country for a powerful evening of inspiration and action. Stay Wild fuels a conservation movement, one that fights to ensure America’s wild horses and burros remain free on our Western public lands.

Why Stay Wild Matters

Our wild herds are facing unprecedented threats this year from the risk of mass slaughter, to relentless helicopter roundups, and a lifetime of confinement in government holding facilities. Stay Wild LA Presented by Jenni Kayne is our chance to stand together and show that there’s a better way that values freedom, compassion, and coexistence. It’s an evening that reminds us that once freedom is taken away, it is almost impossible to restore.

The Wild Spirit

Last year, the energy in the room was undeniable.  Throughout a packed program, music, speeches, and storytelling brought moments of joy, reflection, and determination.

AWHC Ambassadors Brandi Cyrus and Ari Zucker

Guests described how meaningful it was to hear directly from those working on the frontlines, our field observers documenting helicopter roundups, our policy team battling in the courts and in Congress, and the advocates who refuse to let these animals be silenced.

We also honored Jenni Kayne, AWHC's board member and founder of the brand Jenni Kayne (this year's presenting sponsor!) with a freedom award for her work in protecting wild horses and burros!

The event was both a celebration of what we’ve achieved together and a call to action for the battles still ahead. People came as individuals, but they left as a community, united, inspired, and determined to protect the wild.

What’s Ahead This Year

Stay Wild LA Presented by Jenni Kayne  promises to be equally unforgettable. Alongside an evening of inspiration and community, guests will enjoy musical performances from Celine Paolini, a celebrated classical pianist and AWHC Ambassador, and a surprise country artist whose set is sure to bring the house to its feet.

The night will also feature a live auction with specially curated items, giving guests the chance to bid on unique experiences and treasures that directly support our conservation work. And for those who can’t make it in person, the action starts early: our spectacular online auction kicks off October 2, so everyone has a chance to participate and contribute to the cause.

I want to extend a special thank you to our presenting sponsor Jenni Kayne, a lifestyle brand founded by designer, equestrian, philanthropist, and wild horse advocate Jenni Kayne. Beyond sponsorship, the Jenni Kayne brand has continuously supported our work, generously contributing proceeds from sales to help fund our mission to keep wild horses and burros free.  We are deeply grateful for their sustained commitment to conservation and animal welfare.

Our Icon sponsor this year is the Chantecaille Conservation Foundation, a key partner in AWHC’s land preserve and in the fight for wild horse freedom. We are so grateful for their unwavering support and advocacy for wild horses, and wild lands, across the world!

Beyond the Night

What makes Stay Wild so special is that its impact stretches far beyond one evening. Funds raised translate into AWHC’s work to set the conservation standard, raise public awareness and fight for our wild herds in the courts and  the halls of Congress. We work to ensure that future generations inherit a West where wild horses and burros still roam free. Each ticket purchased, and each donation pledged becomes part of a larger story—one where compassion drives real change.

Looking Ahead

If you’ve been to Stay Wild before, you know the magic: the blend of passion, purpose, and community leaves a lasting impression long after the evening ends. If this will be your first time, expect to be moved, inspired, and empowered. Together, we’ll celebrate the beauty of the wild and recommit ourselves to protecting it. Get your tickets now
