The American Wild Horse Conservation (formerly American Wild Horse Campaign) celebrated numerous achievements in 2015, thanks to the unwavering support of our community. These accomplishments underscore our commitment to the humane, in-the-wild protection of wild horses and burros onpublic lands.

Key Achievements in 2015

Throughout the year, we made significant strides in various areas, includingpolicyadvocacy, public awareness, and direct action to protect these majestic animals.

Policy Advocacy

Our team worked tirelessly to influencepolicychanges that favor the protection of wild horses and burros. We engaged with lawmakers and stakeholders to ensure that the voices of these animals are heard and considered in legislative processes.

Public Awareness

Raising awareness about the plight of wild horses and burros is crucial to our mission. In 2015, we launched several campaigns that reached millions of people, educating them about the importance of preserving these animals in their natural habitats.

Direct Action

We took direct action to safeguard wild horses and burros, including on-the-ground efforts to monitor and protect herds from threats. Our dedicated volunteers and staff played a vital role in these initiatives, ensuring that these animals remain free and wild.

As we look back on 2015, we are filled with gratitude for the support of our community. Together, we have made a significant impact, and we remain committed to continuing this important work in the years to come.
